MOAA Scholarship winners and their parents where guests of the Coronado Chapter for the June 18th 2009 dinner.

I wish to recognize and thank the Scholarship Selection Committee of Bob Abney and Paul Weishaupt for their time and energy throughout the selection process.

One thing has become obvious after going through our Scholarship selection process for the past three years.  Our winners have the most supportive and committed role models in their parents.  Almost all our candidates told us that their role models and heroes are their parents.  Thanks to our winners’ parents and supportive families.

And most importantly, the Scholarship Committee thanks you for all your generous contributions to our Scholarship Fund.
